1.      ICNEV Community Event on Sunday April 29, 2012 6pm - 9pm.

Program Schedule:

o   6:00pm – 7:00pm Arrival and social time

o   7:10pm – 7:25pm Maghrib Prayer

o   7:25pm – 8:10pm Community Dinner/BBQ

o   8:10pm – 8:30pm Halaqa

o   8:30pm – 8:55pm General Assembly Meeting followed by Q&A

o   9:00pm – Isha Prayer

Volunteers for this event are requested to arrive at 3:30 pm. 

There will be No charge for BBQ; however, please donate to defray the event cost.  

2.      Free Clinic at ICNEV

We have been supporting Cultural Cup Clinic for few years. This year, Insha’Allah, we plan to add Free Clinic at ICNEV to support our community. We are requesting volunteers for our Clinic at ICNEV. 3.      Fundraising Committee

Alhumdulillah, in the last 3 years with your support, we were able to pay off a total of $875,000 in loan. We would like to thank everyone for their contributions and support. This year, insha’Allah we would like to take on several new initiatives and we will need volunteers to help with the Fundraising Committee. If you would like to volunteer for the Fundraising Committee, please write to us by 7^th May 2012.  

4.      Membership Committee

We would like to follow up on the Advisory Council’s recommendation and commit ourselves to put all concerns around Membership List to rest once and for all. If you would like to volunteer to help with Membership Committee write to us by 7^th May 2012. 

5.      Committee for presenting Islam to non-Muslims

We believe that inviting our neighbors and non-Muslims to our Masjid and presenting Islam in the right way is our duty. Last Ramadan, we hosted dinner for our non-Muslim neighbors and invited br Ali Ataie to give a talk -  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fN0qDx4dYqM .This year, we would like to form a committee to host such programs throughout the year and deliver the message of Islam to non-Muslims around us. If you would like to volunteer, please write to us by 7^th May.   

6.       Election Committee

Thank you for those who offered to volunteer for the Election Committee. Insha’Allah, Election Committee to oversee 2013 ICNEV Board elections will be formed next week. 

We are running low on funds to support our Islamic Center operations, we urge you to support ICNEV by donating generously.
